About me

Originally from Realengo / Rio de Janeiro (a place that I left at 19 years old, but truly never left me), I have a couple of degrees (Pol Sci 14' FU Berlin & MA ANSO 16' IHEID). I also hold a Ph.D. in sociology and gender studies (2023) from the University of Lausanne. I have one daughter and contribute to the work of some associations as a member, such as the Swiss Association for Gender Studies (RN: Globalization, Race and Alterities within and beyond the University), the SP Migrant:innen, the Swiss Network of Young Migration Scholars, and the Rede Brasil Suica.
